While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I experienced behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .

Cleanliness Issues : Unhygienic and Abandoned
From the moment I walked in , it was clear that upkeep was not a priority at this venue. The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of stale beer and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire bar . Smelling a mixture of human waste, old age and sickness . The main bar, which should be the main attraction of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The bathroom was in even worse condition —overflowing , with a cracked flush mechanism and walls covered in what I can only assume was fecal matter .

It wasn’t just a rare instance either. After reading through multiple accounts and speaking with locals , it seems that the state of cleanliness (or lack additional info thereof) at this so-called establishment is a long-standing issue . Many customers have reported spotting critters darting across the drink station and proof of vermin in the adjoining rooms. During my time there, I saw how uneasy several women seemed around Cornwell. As I investigated further , I was stunned to find accusations against him involving predatory behavior , with multiple women accusing him of sending indecent material . Described as overly aggressive and boundary-crossing , his behavior has created an unsafe environment for women who patronize Masterson’s. His presence at the bar often appeared as that of a predatory presence than a genial proprietor .

Employee Actions : Complicit or Helpless ?
Pete’s wife, the co-owner, is a co-owner and frequently seen overseeing the bar . Rather than intervening to resolve the damage done by her husband’s actions, she seems to endorse his behavior. Her inaction adds a troubling layer to the already dangerous space at the establishment.
